Tips for Using Child Safety Seats:

• Learn more about car seats before you shop. Shopping guides rating car seat "ease of use" can be found at http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/.
• If you are an expectant parent, be sure to purchase a car seat and practice using it before the baby is born!
• Additional car seat installation tips and videos are also available on most car seat manufacturers' websites and at www.safercar.gov/parents/CarSeats.htm.

To do its job, a child safety seat must be held tightly against the vehicle seat back.
