Safe Kids York County is a member of Safe Kids Worldwide, a global network of organizations dedicated to preventing accidental injury. www.safekids.org MissionSafe Kids York County, a coalition of public, private, and voluntary organizations, identifies and prevents childhood injuries through education, networking and advocacy. The coalition supports the major risk themes of Safe Kids Worldwide as applicable to local childhood injury needs. GoalTo enhance the capacity of childhood injury prevention programs in York County by empowering families and communities to create safe environments in cars, on bikes, and at home. Accidental injury is the number one cause of death among children ages 14 and under in the United States.
